This is how to ride a horse while running
1. Alone Walking Technique
At the beginning of the learning and training process, don't rush into a horse like you see on television.
Start with a normal walk first and control the stability. To start riding normally, just tap the horse's paw to the horse's belly and the horse will move on its own automatically.
Make sure your sitting position is full in the saddle and feel comfortable and don't forget to maintain balance.
Balance can be maintained properly when you adjust the waist. Also make sure the tread is at a light level and the goal is simply to maintain balance and help control the horse's motion.
2. Ordinary Running Techniques
Once stable and able to walk normally well, then the next horse riding technique that you learn and practice is to run regularly.
For this, make sure to keep your feet close to the horse's body and the horse will start running at a very even and normal pace.
The hand holding the short rein can follow the rhythm of the horse's head as it runs.
You also have to be careful if a jockey no longer feels able to control when a sitting position has started jumping following the horseshoe, a jockey must focus because otherwise the rhythm of his sitting jumps becomes irregular and uncomfortable.
If the jockey does not concentrate, the position of the buttocks will automatically deviate left and right because the jump is irregular.
When that happens, don't be surprised if the result is leg cramps. Learn to concentrate on controlling your own body position and how the horse doesn't stray or fall easily.
3. Fast Running Technique
When you've mastered the regular track and running is no longer a problem for you, then get ready to try sprints.
In practicing this movement, both legs need to be firmly pressed into the horse's body and make sure both thighs are also firmly pressed under the saddle.
There are only two taps to the sound of the horse's tread and both hands are on the reins and must grip tightly to be able to regulate the rhythm of the horse's head back and forth. If you are a beginner, try to get a jockey to steer the horse in a straight line.
If you want to learn to deepen, practice in several rounds but must be precise to maintain balance and alignment of the body.
When a horse is galloping, it will be able to make a 60-90 degree turn at a speed of 20 km/h which is a safe turn.
But you also have to be careful with the 30 km/h speed because it can separate the jockey and the horse.
There is even a possibility that by increasing speed and becoming unbalanced, the jockey can fall forward and the horse will automatically spin on its own without the jockey.
Of course this is quite risky when training yourself to ride a horse even though there are instructions to lead and guard.
If you haven't mastered the usual walking and running techniques, it's best not to try sprinting.
4. Patience Techniques
Learning to ride a horse is not an easy thing and for that everyone who is interested in learning to ride a horse must have a lot of patience.
Learning to ride a horse can sometimes be slow enough that you will tire yourself out.
When you feel in training you feel there is no progress. Now this is the phase where boredom will haunt you.
Learning to balance and stabilize early on can potentially take a long time, so it can sometimes seem like there is no progress at all.
If there is little progress, do not give up or no progress at all. If you want to be fast, don't give up easily.
